Munger, Tolles & Olson Named to National Law Journal’s 2023 Appellate Hot List
Munger, Tolles & Olson is pleased to announce that the firm has once again been named to the National Law Journal’s 2023 Appellate Hot List, an annual list that honors law firms engaging in exemplary appellate advocacy on behalf of clients.
This is the fourth time the firm has been recognized as a winner on the Appellate Hot List in the past six years.
MTO was recognized for its recent appellate victories including Moore v. Harper, in which the firm delivered a historic win for democracy when the U.S. Supreme Court ruled that the Constitution’s Elections Clause does not strip state courts of their power to enforce state constitutions that limit the power of state legislatures when they set the rules for federal elections; U.S. v. Blaszczak et al., in which MTO secured a favorable ruling overturning a first-of-its kind conviction that applied insider trading law to the alleged misuse of confidential government information; and Grayscale Investments LLC v. SEC, in which the D.C. Circuit vacated an SEC order denying Grayscale’s bid to launch the first spot bitcoin exchange-traded product in the United States.
