Overview

Sidney Eisner is a litigation associate in the Los Angeles office of Munger, Tolles & Olson whose practice focuses primarily on complex civil litigation.

Sidney has represented clients in a wide range of industries including financial services, insurance, real estate and technology, as well as governmental entities. Her experience includes litigation on claims for breach of contract, breach of fiduciary duty, violations of the California Invasion of Privacy Act and the False Claims Act.

Sidney also maintains an active pro bono practice and is part of a team challenging the California Department of Corrections immigration enforcement policies that refer hundreds of people in custody every year to Immigration and Customs Enforcement —even if they are U.S. citizens — based on their race, ethnicity, national origin and other protected characteristics.

Prior to joining the firm, Sidney was a litigator at one of the nation’s top law firms in New York. She served as a law clerk to the Honorable William F. Kuntz, II of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of New York, a judicial intern to the Honorable John G. Koeltl of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York and a legal intern to the U.S. Attorney’s Office: Civil Division.

While attending New York University School of Law she served as managing editor of the Annual Survey of American Law and was named a Florence Allen Scholar for ranking in the top ten percent of her class.
