Maggie J. Bushell

Maggie Bushell (she/her) is a litigation associate in the Los Angeles office of Munger, Tolles & Olson.

Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Bushell served as a judicial clerk to the Honorable Richard A. Paez of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit and externed for the Honorable Edmond E. Chang, of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois. She was also a summer associate at MTO and an Am Law 200 firm in Chicago.

Ms. Bushell earned her J.D. with honors from the University of Chicago Law School, where she was co-president of the Immigration Law Society and a board member of the American Constitution Society. She graduated summa cum laude from the University of California, Berkeley, with a B.A. in political science and minors in journalism and human rights interdisciplinary. While in law school, she was a research assistant to various professors and conducted research on bilateral labor agreements and school finance litigation. She earned a certificate in international affairs and strategies from Sciences Po Paris, Campus de Reims, in France.
