Overview

Megan McCreadie is a litigation associate in the San Francisco office of Munger, Tolles & Olson whose practice focuses on complex civil litigation and criminal defense, with an emphasis on regulated industries, as well as mass torts and class actions.

Her notable work includes several investigations and criminal proceedings that MTO handled for Pacific Gas & Electric relating to wildfires in Northern California. She was part of the team that successfully resolved the Shasta County District Attorney’s prosecution stemming from the 2020 Zogg Fire. The DA agreed to drop all remaining criminal charges in exchange for a fine following a multi-week preliminary hearing that saw multiple criminal charges dismissed for lack of probable cause.

Megan’s work on these teams includes coordinating factual development, conducting witness interviews, briefing substantive and discovery motions, interfacing with prosecutors about search warrants and subpoenas and preparing witnesses to testify. She has also represented corporations, officers and directors in complex litigation, including shareholder litigation in federal court and in Delaware Chancery Court.
