Munger, Tolles & Olson Increases Diversity Scorecard Ranking

Munger, Tolles & Olson ranked 13th among law firms nationwide in The American Lawyer’s latest Diversity Scorecard report, released on June 2, 2020.

The Diversity Scorecard considers the percentage of attorneys of color in each firm, double-counting partners to emphasize the importance of promoting attorneys of color, and compiles the figures into a uniform score.

This year, Munger, Tolles & Olson moved up two places on the list of 220 ranked firms, with 24.8% of total attorneys and 20.3% of partners identifying as lawyers of color.

According to The American Lawyer, attorneys of color across the United States have seen a 3.9% increase in representation among the country’s largest firms since 2010. Munger, Tolles & Olson remains dedicated to improving representation and inclusion throughout our ranks. As a testament to this commitment, we are proud that the firm was also recognized by Yale Law Women as a top law firm for gender equity on May 20, 2020.
