Rose Ehler Recognized in the Daily Journal’s 2026 Top IP Lawyers List

Munger, Tolles & Olson Partner Rose Ehler has been named to the Daily Journal’s 2026 Top Intellectual Property Lawyers list for the third year. The annual recognition honors California’s leading patent, trademark and copyright attorneys.
The publication recognized Rose as a trusted litigator handling high-stakes copyright and trademark disputes for major entertainment clients.
The profile highlighted her work litigating to protect the “anti-circumvention” rights of copyright owners under Section 1201 of the Digital Millennium Copyright Act, including representing the Recording Industry Association of America in litigation against the music stream-ripping service, Yout.
In the profile, Rose explains the motivation she finds in helping creative industries to protect their copyrights. She also expressed gratitude and admiration for partner Kelly Klaus who taught her to engage with the most difficult aspects of a client’s problem and distill complex concepts for a court.
