Munger Tolles Partner Zachary Briers Named to Daily Journal’s Top 40 Under 40 List

On August 3, the Daily Journal named partner Zachary Briers to its 2022 edition of the Top 40 Under 40 list, which recognizes the very best young lawyers in California.

Mr. Briers was recognized for his patent and technology-related litigation work, as well as his experience guiding clients through complex, high-value technology transactions. 

The Daily Journal highlighted Mr. Briers’ work on Weta Digital’s sale of visual effects software and technology to Unity Software for $1.625 billion, as well as his role in advising Intel in the $9 billion sale of its NAND memory business to SK Hynix. 

Additionally, Mr. Briers was recognized for his representation of Google in litigation over the alleged infringement of five patents concerning video compression software and YouTube in a putative class action brought by content moderators.
