Jonathan Blavin to Speak at NYU Law Forum on Social Media and AI Chatbot Litigation  

Munger, Tolles & Olson Partner Jonathan Blavin will speak with New York University School of Law faculty and students in a panel at the NYU Law Forum on October 21. Titled “A Legal Reckoning? Social Media and AI Chatbot Litigation,” the session will examine recent litigation against social media platforms and AI chatbots alleging various harms. 

The discussion will address tort claims brought by private plaintiffs, consumer protection and privacy claims pursued by government officials. Bringing together attorneys involved on both sides of these lawsuits and scholars informing legal and policy responses, the panel will explore the implications of these claims for technology platforms.
