Martin Estrada Serves as Keynote Speaker at California Unity Bar Association’s 2025 Unity Bar Summit

Munger, Tolles & Olson Partner Martin Estrada recently served as the keynote speaker in the California Unity Bar Association’s 2025 Unity Bar Summit. Held at University of the Pacific’s McGeorge School of Law on May 17, attorneys, judges, students and community leaders alike convened for a full day of programming centered on the power of unity in the legal profession.

The Summit included approximately 40 speakers across a mix of panels and presentations, plus opening remarks from Unity Bar Ambassador Jessie Morris, as well as video messages from Governor Gavin Newsom and Attorney General Rob Bonta, and closing remarks by Judicial Appointments Secretary Luis Cespedes. As former U.S. Attorney for the Central District of California, Martin’s keynote presentation highlighted his insights on recent federal policy changes and the importance of defending against attacks that attempt to deprive anyone of their rights. For Cal Unity Bar, the conference served as a statewide reaffirmation of purpose – one “rooted in unity, fueled by community, and driven by a vision for a more inclusive and just legal system for all Californians.”
