Munger, Tolles & Olson’s Elaine Goldenberg to Speak at the 63rd Annual Corporate Counsel Institute
Munger, Tolles & Olson partner Elaine Goldenberg will speak at the 63rd annual Corporate Counsel Institute, which is presented by Northwestern Law and will take place on June 6 and 7 in Chicago. Ms. Goldenberg will be a panelist on Friday, June 7, in the session titled “Supreme Court Cases and the Impact on Corporate America.” Designed by a committee of general counsel, the Institute addresses the latest legal issues affecting business, develops leadership skills and discusses strategies for effectively managing an in-house legal department.
Ms. Goldenberg focuses her practice on appeals and complex litigation and represents a spectrum of clients in high-stakes appellate litigation across the country. She has argued 12 cases before the U.S. Supreme Court and numerous cases in federal and state appellate courts. Before joining MTO, she served for five years as an assistant to the Solicitor General at the U.S. Department of Justice, where she briefed hundreds of cases at the merits and certiorari stages in the U.S. Supreme Court and helped formulate the government’s positions and appellate strategy in the lower courts.
