Munger, Tolles & Olson Firm Chair Brad Brian Recognized by the National Law Journal as a 2023 General Litigation Trailblazer

Congratulations to Munger, Tolles & Olson Firm Chair Brad Brian for being named to the National Law Journal’s 2023 General Litigation Trailblazers list. 

The National Law Journal recognized Mr. Brian’s recent work for high-profile and high-impact lawsuits and investigations, including his representation of Edison International and Southern California Edison in obtaining the dismissal of 29 criminal counts against PG&E arising from a wildfire in Shasta County and, once retained after a $464 million jury verdict against Southern California Edison, mediating and settling that case to the satisfaction of all parties. Besides these commercial successes, Mr. Brian obtained a historic preliminary injunction pausing the enforcement of LA County’s cash bail schedule and eliminating cash bail for individuals arrested on most low-level, non-violent offenses. 

With his decades of experience in Los Angeles’ legal industry, Mr. Brian continues to play a vital role in raising the bar for litigation talent year after year.
