Malcolm Heinicke and Rohit Singla Named Top Labor and Employment Lawyers by the Daily Journal

The Daily Journal named Co-Managing Partner Malcolm Heinicke and partner Rohit Singla 2022 Top Labor and Employment Lawyers. 

The annual award recognizes the top labor and employment attorneys throughout California.

Mr. Heinicke’s recent success sending a nationwide collective action to individual arbitration on behalf of Eclipse Senior Living, an operator of a chain of senior living centers, as well as his defense of the founder of an artificial intelligence company, who was sued by his previous employer over claims of misappropriation were highlighted by the Daily Journal.

This is the 14th consecutive year, Mr. Heinicke has been recognized on the Top Labor and Employment Lawyers list.

Mr. Singla was recognized for his work on behalf of major “gig” economy companies on bet-the-company employment cases. The Daily Journal spotlighted his ongoing representation of Lyft in one of the largest employment cases in the state arising from the alleged misclassification of more than 500,000 California drivers, as well as his work for Handy Technologies in litigation involving claims by the District Attorneys of San Francisco and Los Angeles County that the company is allegedly misclassifying its “Pros” in California.
