The list highlights litigation victories and major deals that resonated throughout the legal industry in the past year. The firm was one of five selected by the publication.

Munger, Tolles & Olson was recognized for its success on behalf of Disney, Warner Bros., and other studios in winning a $62 million statutory damages award in a copyright infringement lawsuit brought against VidAngel. The firm also represented Disney in obtaining dismissal of a copyright infringement suit involving the five “Pirates of the Caribbean” films; and in a precedent-setting case that found that the unauthorized resale of digital movie redemption codes by Redbox is copyright infringement.
