David Ryan Discusses Online Extremism on True Crime Podcast

Munger, Tolles & Olson Of Counsel David Ryan was interviewed for KT Studios and iHeart’s true crime podcast “Incels.” In the episode titled “The 764 Network,” David discusses the hidden online network that targets children and his work as the former chief of the National Security Division at the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Los Angeles to disrupt the network’s criminal activities and protect children from online predators.
During the conversation, David outlines the rise of online radicalization, the narrowing gap between radicalization and mobilization to violence, the ideology driving incel communities and the tactics of the 764 network – a group the FBI has classified as a high-level domestic terrorism threat.
