Shannon Galvin Aminirad

Shannon Galvin Aminirad is a litigation associate in the San Francisco office of Munger, Tolles & Olson.

Ms. Aminirad's practice focuses on complex civil litigation, with a particular emphasis on the legal challenges faced by the media, entertainment, and gaming industry. She also has significant experience representing companies in government and internal investigations. She has experience litigating in state and federal court, including writing dispositive motions, taking and defending depositions, and managing discovery.

After law school, Ms. Aminirad clerked for Judge Cormac J. Carney of the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California.

Ms. Aminirad earned her J.D. from Stanford Law School, where she served as online editor-in-chief of the Stanford Law Review. During law school, she was a board member of the Kirkwood Moot Court Competition and wrote a chapter on procedural law for a textbook used by law students in Afghanistan. She graduated with a B.S.F.S., magna cum laude, in international politics from Georgetown University.
