Kevin Yang is a litigation associate in the San Francisco office of Munger, Tolles & Olson.

Prior to joining the firm, Kevin served as a law clerk to the Honorable Alan Albright of the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Texas. He was a summer associate at two different Am Law 200 firms in California working on patent infringement and intellectual property issues.

Kevin earned his J.D., Order of the Coif, from the University of California, Berkeley, School of Law, where he served as executive editor of the California Law Review and senior student publication editor of the Berkeley Technology Law Journal. During his time at Berkeley, he received the Jurisprudence Award in criminal law and the Prosser Prize in copyright law. He also graduated with a B.S. with honors in computer science from the California Institute of Technology.

Earlier in his career, Kevin was a software engineer at Oracle America, where he developed data visualization products. He is fluent in Mandarin Chinese.
