Jason D. Weiss

Jason Weiss is a litigation associate in the Los Angeles office of Munger, Tolles & Olson.

Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Weiss clerked for Judge Patrick J. Bumatay of the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit and for Chief Judge Philip S. Gutierrez of the United States District Court for the Central District of California.

Mr. Weiss earned his J.D. from UCLA School of Law where he was a Michael T. Masin Scholar and elected to the Order of the Coif. In law school, he served as Co-Chief Managing Editor for the Journal of Law and Technology and as a Problem Developer for the 2021 Cybersecurity Moot Court Competition. He also assisted in writing an amicus brief to the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals in a First Amendment case.

Mr. Weiss graduated summa cum laude from Berklee College of Music with a Bachelor of Music in Music Business and Management and worked in the music industry before attending law school.
