

Overview
Skylar Brooks Grove is a litigator in the San Francisco office of Munger, Tolles & Olson whose practice focuses on complex civil litigation.
She represents clients in a range of industries, including technology, financial services, energy and education. Skylar writes and argues motions, takes and defends depositions, represents clients at trial and negotiates settlements.
Skylar also has an active pro bono practice. In 2019, she represented an individual in a lawsuit alleging excessive force by a law enforcement officer. She helped secure a complete denial of the defendants’ motion for summary judgment and served as co-lead counsel in the ensuing federal jury trial. Skylar plays a leadership role in MTO’s Police Reform Initiative, which is an effort to enforce California’s public disclosure laws for law enforcement.
