

Overview
Shannon Eagen is a litigation associate in the Los Angeles office of Munger, Tolles & Olson.
Prior to rejoining the firm, Shannon served as a law clerk to Judge John A. Kronstadt of the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California. She previously worked as a summer associate at MTO, where she was embedded on a trial team defending nuisance and negligence suits and assisted in employment litigation. She gained additional experience as a summer associate at two Am Law 100 firms, where she focused on intellectual property matters and drafted briefs in copyright, trademark and patent disputes, as well as pro bono appellate work.
Shannon graduated summa cum laude from the University of California, Irvine School of Law. She earned the Faculty Award for the highest performance in 8 courses and the Dean’s Award for second highest performance in 5 courses. While in law school, Shannon served as an articles editor of the UC Irvine Law Review. She was a Moot Court runner-up for Best Oralist, Best Brief and Best Advocate. Shannon held leadership roles with the Intellectual Property Law Society and the Public Interest Law Fund and led a pro bono project with Transforming Justice Orange County, coordinating a letter-writing, conditions monitoring and advocacy program for incarcerated individuals.
