Overview

Sean St. Charles is a litigation associate in the Los Angeles office of Munger, Tolles & Olson. 

Prior to rejoining the firm, Sean earned his J.D. from UCLA School of Law, where he was awarded the Shepard Broad Scholarship. Sean served for two years as a research assistant to Professor Seana Shiffrin, contributing to scholarship on a range of topics in the fields of free speech and legal philosophy, including self-censorship, captive audiences, access to higher education and the impact of survey design on answer accuracy. While in law school, Sean was a summer associate at MTO and worked on a number of litigation matters. 

Before law school, Sean spent nearly a decade recording and touring internationally as a drummer and songwriter in an indie rock band. His three albums with Run For Cover Records have collectively garnered more than 20 million streams and coverage from NPR, Pitchfork, SPIN and Rolling Stone.
