

Overview
Kevin Chiu is a litigation associate in the Los Angeles office of Munger, Tolles & Olson.
Prior to joining the firm, Kevin clerked for Judge Daniel P. Collins of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit and Judge Stephen V. Wilson of the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California. He also externed in the Criminal Division of the United States Attorney’s Office for the Central District of California.
Kevin earned his J.D. from the University of California, Berkeley School of Law, where he was a Center for Law, Energy & the Environment Scholar. During his time at Berkeley, he was elected to the Order of the Coif and received multiple academic honors, including the Jurisprudence Award in Contracts, Civil Procedure and Criminal Procedure as well as the Prosser Prize in Securities Regulation and Administrative Law.
Earlier in his career, Kevin worked as an air quality engineer at the South Coast Air Quality Management District, where he analyzed pollutant dispersion data for toxic air contaminants and directed regulatory compliance programs. He also has prior experience in the aerospace and petroleum industries.
