

Overview
Jessica Laird is a litigation associate in the Los Angeles office of Munger, Tolles & Olson whose practice focuses on complex civil litigation and data privacy and security advising.
She has represented retail, healthcare, technology and financial services companies on issues relating to privacy, data security, digital advertising and consumer protection in the United States and Europe. Jessica also has experience litigating in state and federal court, including writing dispositive motions, working with expert witnesses, managing all aspects of discovery and representing clients on appeal.
Prior to joining the firm, Jessica worked as an associate in the Legal Division of the International Committee of the Red Cross in Geneva, Switzerland.
At Yale Law School, Jessica served as the editor-in-chief for the Yale Journal of International Law. During law school, Jessica also worked in the Human Rights and Special Prosecutions Section of the U.S. Department of Justice and served as a law clerk to Sen. Chris Coons, focusing on the Privacy, Technology and the Law Subcommittee.
At Munger, Tolles Jessica is a co-chair of the Food From the Bar Committee, which spearheads the firm’s participation in the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank’s annual fundraising effort.
