

Overview
Jake Todd is a litigation associate in the Los Angeles office of Munger, Tolles & Olson.
Prior to joining the firm, Jake clerked for Judges Milan D. Smith, Jr., of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit and John A. Kronstadt of the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California. He also served as a law clerk in the Central District’s Patent Program, working with Judges André Birotte Jr., John W. Holcomb, John A. Kronstadt, Mark C. Scarsi, James V. Selna and George H. Wu. He was previously an associate at a large international law firm, where he worked on civil disputes, including patent, trade secret and breach-of-fiduciary-duty cases.
While in law school, Jake was Editor-in-Chief of the Columbia Science and Technology Law Review. He was a three-time James Kent Scholar and a Ruth Bader Ginsburg Scholar. He also served as co-president of Columbia’s High School Law Institute, teaching constitutional law and mock trial.
