Overview
Hunter Armour is a complex commercial litigation associate in the Los Angeles office of Munger, Tolles & Olson.
One of Hunter’s notable cases was representing FIGS, a publicly traded medical apparel company, and its co-founders against Lanham Act false advertising and state law intentional interference and unfair competition claims brought by the main industry incumbent. That matter resulted in a full and complete defense verdict following a three-week jury trial in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California, which achieved American Lawyer Litigator of the Week Runner-Up recognition and designation by the Daily Journal as a Top Defense Verdict of 2022.
Hunter also maintains an active pro bono practice, including representing plaintiffs in a class action lawsuit alleging that certain of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement of Southern California’s policies and practices violate the Fourth Amendment. For his work, he was honored by the ACLU with the Immigrants’ Rights Award.
Hunter earned his J.D. from Pepperdine University School of Law, where he was lead articles editor of Pepperdine Law Review, was a Dean’s Merit Scholar and participated in the Ninth Circuit Clinic.
Prior to law school, Hunter graduated from the United States Naval Academy and proudly served in the U.S. Marine Corps, including a combat deployment to Afghanistan.
