Overview
Faye Paul Teller is a trial lawyer who helps clients across an array of industries navigate high-stakes commercial disputes from pre-suit investigation to trial and appeal.
She has extensive experience translating technically complex subject matter for judges and juries, having served as trial counsel in bench and jury trials across the country. She often steps in as trial counsel on the eve of trial.
Faye’s experience defending companies against claims of patent infringement is particularly deep. She has battled infringement claims on behalf of Google, Intel, HPE and other leading technology companies related to their innovative Wi-Fi, FPGA, and Power over Ethernet technologies; a leading pharmaceutical company related to its highly successful antiviral treatment; and a medical manufacturer related to its intraoral scanner. Faye also currently represents Snap Inc. (maker of Snapchat) in multidistrict litigation alleging injuries to minor users from alleged “addiction” to social media.
In 2023, Faye also completed a months-long investigation for UC Berkeley related to allegations of discrimination against and abusive and bullying conduct toward student-athletes by longtime Cal Women’s Swimming and Diving program Head Coach Teri McKeever. The investigation culminated in a publicly disclosed investigation report.
Prior to joining the firm in 2022, Faye was a partner at a litigation boutique in Chicago, where she regularly served as trial counsel in bet-the-company cases.
