Overview

Evan Mann is a litigation associate in the San Francisco office of Munger, Tolles & Olson who represents technology and entertainment companies with a focus on intellectual property and patent litigation.

He also maintains an active pro bono practice and has provided pro bono representation in various cases involving the constitutional rights of criminal defendants.

In support of the community, Evan participates annually in Food From The Bar, a deeply impactful annual campaign that unites legal professionals across the country in combating child hunger.

Intellectual Property Litigation

AbbVie, Inc. in decade-long, multi-part antitrust litigation relating to various patent litigation and patent settlements.

Google in numerous district court actions defending against patent-infringement claims related to Google’s reCAPTCHA, cloud security, voice assistant and content delivery network products; in petitioning for writs of mandamus; and on appeal at the Federal Circuit defending a judgment of no liability after a jury trial.

The Walt Disney Company in a copyright case alleging that Disney’s “Pirates of the Caribbean” franchise infringed plaintiffs’ copyright in their speculative screenplay.
