Clare Kane

Clare Kane is an attorney in the San Francisco office of Munger, Tolles & Olson, where she focuses on natural resources law.

Clare is a lead representative for significant agricultural interests in Arizona in complex, multi-party negotiations regarding the future of the Colorado River. She also has experience with the Clean Water Act, the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA), tribal environmental issues and environmental litigation in state and federal courts. She maintains an active pro bono practice representing applicants for asylum and litigating immigration detention.

Prior to her clerkships, Clare was a fellow at the Asylum Seeker Advocacy Project. At Yale Law School, she was a member of the Worker and Immigrant Rights Advocacy Clinic for five semesters. She is a former public school teacher and spends her free time exploring America’s public lands.
