Overview
Charles Lam is a litigation associate in the Los Angeles office of at Munger, Tolles & Olson whose practice includes work on trade secret and employee mobility and white collar and investigations matters.
Prior to joining the firm, Charles served as a law clerk to Judge Mark C. Scarsi of the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California. He was also an associate at an Am Law 200 multinational law firm in Los Angeles.
Charles earned his J.D. magna cum laude from Loyola Marymount University, Loyola Law School where he was executive editor of the Loyola of Los Angeles Law Review. During law school, Charles served as a judicial extern to the Honorable Philip S. Gutierrez of the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California and a legal extern in the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Central District of California in the criminal and national security divisions. He also won the ABA Forum on Communication Law’s 14th Annual First Amendment and Media Law Diversity Moot Court.
Prior to law school, Charles worked as a journalist for NBC News.
