

Overview
Carrrie Litten is a litigation associate in the Los Angeles office of Munger, Tolles & Olson who has substantial experience litigating complex commercial cases, including trials and arbitrations and focuses on defending class and collective actions.
She writes and argues successful motions, manages all aspects of discovery and represents clients in trial and appellate courts.
One of Carrie’s notable representations involved securing a $30 million arbitration award, including punitive damages, on behalf of the sister and estate of a physician and businesswoman who was the victim of a massive real estate fraud. The Daily Journal recognized the victory as one of their “Top Verdicts of the Week.”
In another Daily Journal recognition, Carrie was part of a novel case with a major national bank in obtaining a unanimous verdict against a former employee regarding conduct surrounding a foreign exchange transaction.
Carrie participates annually in Food From The Bar, a deeply impactful annual campaign that unites legal professionals across the country in combating child hunger.

The Estate of Etsuko Toguri in persuading an arbitrator to award over $30 million, including punitive damages, in a complete win for the estate of a physician and businesswoman who was the victim of a massive real estate fraud involving the sale of a 32-acre parcel in the heart of downtown Rancho Cucamonga, a city east of Los Angeles.
A major national bank in obtaining a unanimous jury verdict against a former high-level employee who alleged that a workplace call in connection with a multibillion-dollar foreign exchange transaction had been illegally recorded. This victory was recognized as a Top Defense Verdict of the Year by the Daily Journal.
The Regents of the University of California against a petition for writ of administrative mandate filed by a faculty member, who challenges the University’s disciplinary proceedings against him.
