Overview
Anastasia Thatcher is a litigation associate in the Los Angeles office of Munger, Tolles & Olson.
Prior to rejoining the firm, Anastasia served as a law clerk to Judge Jacqueline Nguyen of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit and Judge Philip S. Gutierrez of the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California. She was a summer associate at MTO, where she conducted legal research, drafted discovery motions and contributed to appellate briefing on contract and procedural issues. She also worked as a summer associate at a large international law firm.
While in law school, Anastasia served as managing editor of the UCLA Law Review and submissions editor for the UCLA Journal of Gender & Law. She also competed in UCLA’s 1L Moot Court Competition, where she placed in the top 25%, and she worked as a graduate assistant tutor supporting first-year students. Anastasia received Masin Family Academic Gold Awards for highest grades in Contracts, Conflicts of Laws and Wills & Trusts, and a Silver Award for second highest grade in Business Associations. She graduated seventh in her law school class.
