The Washington State Office of the Attorney General (WSOAG), along with Munger, Tolles & Olson (MTO) obtained a permanent injunction against the $24.6 billion merger of the Kroger and Albertsons grocery chains, which would have been the largest supermarket merger in U.S. history.

The MTO team representing WSOAG included partners Glenn Pomerantz, Kuruvilla Olasa, Jonathan Kravis, Lauren Ross, Xiaonan April Hu, Robert Bowen, Carson Scott, Helen White and Lauren Beck.

The litigation win earned a “Runner-Up” recognition in The American Lawyer’s Litigator of the Week column, and garnered significant media coverage in publications such as The New York Times, NBC News, Washington Post, AXIOS, Law360, Reuters and many others.
