Ashley Aull and Sara McDermott Recognized as 2024 Mentors of the Year

Ashley Aull and Sara McDermott were recognized as 2024 MTO Mentors of the Year. Awarded annually, the MTO Mentorship Awards recognize attorneys who go above and beyond to foster the development of the next generation of MTO leaders.

The 2024 honorees were nominated by their peers in recognition of their mentorship efforts over the course of the last year.

Ashley Aull was awarded the 2024 Mentor of the Year award for her willingness to connect and offer guidance on balancing personal and professional responsibilities and career goals. Ashley’s nominators noted her “effective leadership” as well as her “willingness to explain every decision and teach even the smallest details, [which] speaks volumes about her dedication to mentorship.”

Sara McDermott was awarded the 2024 Mentor of the Year award for her exceptional leadership, especially through important casework that required navigating complex litigation and leading new associates through the litigation process, always leaving opportunity for questions and support. Sara’s nominators emphasized the way she “[fosters] a sustainable work environment,” while also keeping “grace under pressure, humor and wise counsel.”
