Brad Brian, Stuart Senator and Bethany Kristovich to Speak at ABA National Legal Malpractice Conference
Munger, Tolles & Olson Firm Chair Brad Brian and Partners Stuart Senator and Bethany Kristovich will speak at the American Bar Association’s National Legal Malpractice Conference, which will be held from September 10-12 in Rancho Mirage, California. The educational and networking event brings together legal, malpractice and insurance professionals from across the nation to discuss the legal liability field and its impact on lawyers.
On September 10, Brad will be a featured speaker in the keynote plenary session titled “‘The First Thing We Do, Let’s Kill All the Lawyers’ – Protecting the Profession – Lawyers, the Constitution, and the Perils at Play.” This panel will discuss historic roles the profession has played in the judicial system; the changing dynamic of lawyers and law firms, including how Executive Orders and other actions have tested the profession this year; and challenges that remain for safeguarding the profession and rule of law.
On September 11, Stuart will be one of the law firm general counsels leading the general counsel roundtable titled “‘Hot’ Risk Management Trends for the Office of Law Firm General Counsel,” addressing attorney movement, considerations for non-citizen lawyers and attorney wellness and impairment issues.
Bethany will speak at a session titled “Playing Nice in the Sandbox.” The session will explore the groundbreaking changes to the legal profession presented by alternative business structures, sandboxes, legal incubators, and litigation funding.
