Miriam Kim to Discuss Hot Topics in Intellectual Property Litigation in BASF Panel
Munger, Tolles & Olson partner Miriam Kim will join other intellectual property litigators on Thursday, April 17 for an in-person panel from 5:00 to 6:15 pm at the Bar Association of San Francisco (BASF) Conference Center in San Francisco.
Hosted by BASF, this special event will dive into recent litigation developments in the world of patents, trade secrets, copyrights and trademarks. Additional topics relating to the protection of data from an IP perspective will include: Section 101 of the Patent Act, controversial issues in trade secret protection and damages, how to use large datasets to train generative artificial intelligence and the associated copyright and publicity issues and laws related to data scraping and the protection of large datasets.
