Munger, Tolles & Olson Named KIND’s 2025 Pro Bono Team of the Year in Los Angeles 

Munger, Tolles & Olson has been named the 2025 Pro Bono Team of the Year in Los Angeles by Kids in Need of Defense (KIND).

MTO was recognized as part of KIND’s 2025 Pro Bono Honorees during National Pro Bono Week, which is typically the third week of October and celebrates the importance of legal professionals and their work to ensure access to justice for all. KIND recognized pro bono partners across the country who have gone above and beyond to ensure that unaccompanied and separated children seeking safety in the United States are met with care, dignity and expert legal representation.

MTO represented a Honduran national in an appeal before the Board of Immigration Appeals. The MTO team included Joseph Lee, Becca Hansen and Sarah Pfander.
