Martin Estrada Featured in Netflix Documentary on Matthew Perry 

Munger, Tolles & Olson Co-Managing Partner Martin Estrada is featured in “The One About Matthew Perry,” a three-part Netflix documentary series now streaming on the platform. Martin participated in the series following his service as U.S. Attorney for the Central District of California, where he led the prosecution in the criminal case connected to Perry’s death. 

After the 2024 indictment of “Ketamine Queen” Jasveen Sangha and the other four defendants involved in the case, Martin told the media, “The investigation revealed that in the fall of 2023, Mr. Perry fell back into addiction and these defendants took advantage to profit for themselves.”  

Directed by Emmy winner Mary Robertson, the documentary explores the life, career and legacy of the beloved “Friends” actor, including his struggles with addiction and advocacy for others in recovery. The series features interviews with Perry’s family, friends and colleagues, alongside previously unreleased photographs and videos from the family’s private archive.
