Wes Burrell and Helen White Recognized as 2025 Mentors of the Year

Munger, Tolles & Olson’s Wes Burrell and Helen White were recognized as 2025 MTO Mentors of the Year. Awarded annually, the MTO Mentorship awards recognize attorneys who exemplify the true spirit of mentorship—offering invaluable guidance and support—who go above and beyond to make a lasting difference in the professional journeys of their colleagues.

The 2025 honorees were chosen by their peers in recognition of the strength and depth of their mentorship efforts over the course of the last year.

Wes received the 2025 Mentor of the Year award for his exceptional dedication to junior attorneys, providing guidance and support especially during challenging situations. Nominators highlighted his generosity with his time and the quality of his advice in making tough decisions and shared, “It is no exaggeration to say that Wes is the best of what this firm has to offer.”

Helen White received the 2025 Mentor of the Year award for her ability to balance busy caseloads while maintaining engagement with team members and supporting their professional development and career goals. Nominators highlighted Helen as she “produces amazing work but somehow always makes room for others on her teams to shine as well.”
