Partner Mark Helm to Join Prominent ADR Practice After 37 Years with Munger, Tolles & Olson

After more than 37 successful years at the firm, Mark Helm will be retiring effective June 1, 2022 to join Layn Phillips’s mediation and arbitration practice in the fall.

Mr. Helm’s litigation practice specialized in complex disputes across a wide range of substantive areas including those involving investment firms, trade secrets, intellectual property, and employee mobility, among others, and he was recognized for major trial victories by the national and statewide media.

During his tenure at MTO, Mr. Helm served as co-managing partner from 2005 to 2010 and was named one of Lawdragon’s “100 Managing Partners You Need to Know” in 2008. 

In recent years, he acted as a mediator for litigated disputes and was a member of the ADR panel for the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California. 

In September 2022, Mr. Helm will join Phillips ADR Enterprises.
