Kevin Allred retired from Munger, Tolles & Olson in April 2026.
Kevin’s litigation practice focused on professional liability, securities class actions and derivative actions, antitrust, trade secret and trade regulation, fraud claims, contract disputes, directors’ representations and litigation arising in the bankruptcy context and public utility regulatory matters. He also handled litigation in multiple False Claims Act cases, real estate disputes and unfair competition matters. Kevin represented clients in a vast array of industries.
In addition to active litigation, Kevin consulted extensively with clients regarding potential antitrust or tortious interference claims in connection with contemplated transactions or business activities, and worked on antitrust clearance issues in connection with mergers. He also worked on corporate internal investigations and government investigations relating to potential antitrust, False Claims Act, securities or other corporate compliance issues. This consultation/investigation work included work for clients in the oil, entertainment, health services, consumer products, aerospace, law, electric utility and general manufacturing areas.
Following law school, Kevin served as a law clerk to Judge Irving Hill of the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California.
