Overview
Jacob Ghandour is a corporate attorney in the Los Angeles office of Munger, Tolles & Olson.
Jacob advises companies, entrepreneurs, family offices, ultra-high net-worth individuals and other clients on corporate transactions and investor-side matters, including mergers and acquisitions, private fund investments and other strategic transactions.
Jacob earned his J.D., summa cum laude, from the University of California, Irvine School of Law, receiving 11 academic awards. During law school, Jacob worked as a certified law student in the Community and Economic Development Clinic, where he drafted transactional documents for nonprofit and community-based clients, including a procurement policy, lease agreements and a purchase and sale agreement for a $7 million mobile home park acquisition. Jacob also served as an articles editor for the UC Irvine Law Review and a research fellow supporting faculty scholarship on defamation and legal writing pedagogy. He further supported faculty scholarship as a research assistant to Professor Christopher R. Leslie, analyzing predatory pricing and Walker Process complaints. He prepared a comprehensive memorandum identifying patterns and trends among the successful and unsuccessful complaints.
