Overview

Jacob Ghandour is a corporate associate in the Los Angeles office of Munger, Tolles & Olson. 

Prior to rejoining the firm, Jacob served as a summer associate at MTO, where he researched issues under common law and Delaware corporate law. He also reviewed and marked up agreements to align with client priorities and prepared analyses comparing changes between industry-standard form agreements. 

While earning his J.D. from the University of California, Irvine School of Law, Jacob worked as a certified law student in the Community and Economic Development Clinic, where he drafted transactional documents for nonprofit and community-based clients, including a procurement policy, lease agreements and a $7.625 million mobile home park purchase and sale agreement. Jacob also served as a research assistant to Professor Christopher R. Leslie, analyzing predatory pricing and Walker Process complaints. He prepared a comprehensive memorandum identifying patterns and trends among the successful and unsuccessful complaints. He further supported faculty scholarship as a research fellow and assistant to additional UC Irvine Law professors, contributing to projects on defamation and legal writing pedagogy. 

Jacob served as an articles editor for the UC Irvine Law Review and was active in the First Generation Professionals Program. He also received the CEB Award for Excellence in Legal Research and Writing.
