Overview
Cy Ray is a corporate associate in the Los Angeles office of Munger, Tolles & Olson whose practice focuses on mergers and acquisitions, venture capital, governance and general corporate counseling for clients in the finance, consumer products and technology sectors.
Before joining MTO, Cy was an associate at an international law firm in Silicon Valley, where he represented public and private clients in U.S. and cross-border transactions, including multibillion-dollar M&A deals, carveouts, reorganizations and corporate governance matters.
While at Yale University, he served as a special editor for the Yale Journal of Law & Technology. Before and during law school, he worked at technology companies in California, advising senior leadership on business development, investment, and strategy decisions.
Prior to attending law school, Cy spent several years on the Korean Peninsula as a fellow at Seoul National University and as a researcher at the Constitutional Court of South Korea.
