Munger, Tolles & Olson announces the arrival of real estate partner Aimee Contreras-Camua to the firm’s Los Angeles office. A legal and real estate industry veteran, Ms. Contreras-Camua’s career includes two decades practicing real estate law at an AmLaw 10 firm and a role as outside counsel for a real estate firm specializing in the development of luxury, branded residential and resort communities. Her experience also includes serving as general counsel on secondment to a subsidiary of a multinational investment bank and financial services company.

Over the course of her career, Ms. Contreras-Camua has represented clients across a wide range of transactions, including acquisitions and dispositions, joint ventures, mortgage and mezzanine financing, commercial mortgage-backed securities, portfolio transactions and leasing.

At Munger, Tolles & Olson, Ms. Contreras-Camua will represent a broad spectrum of clients, including real estate funds, opportunity funds, institutional lenders, investment banks, major residential developers and real estate investors.

Ms. Contreras-Camua earned her J.D. and B.A. from the University of California at Los Angeles. She currently serves as the President-Elect of the Asian Pacific American Women Lawyers Alliance and the Real Estate Committee Co-Chair of the National Asian Pacific American Bar Association. Ms. Contreras-Camua also serves on the boards of the Philippine American Bar Association Foundation and the UCLA Pilipino Alumni Association.
