Munger, Tolles & Olson attorney Omar Noureldin has been named an On the Rise – Top 40 Young Lawyer for 2021 by the American Bar Association (ABA). The award is a national recognition given by the largest association of lawyers in the country to lawyers under 40, who exemplify a broad range of high achievement, innovation, vision, leadership, and legal and community service.
Omar Noureldin is a litigator in the Los Angeles office of Munger, Tolles & Olson. His practice focuses on complex civil litigation in both state and federal court for clients in the technology and higher education industries. He also maintains an active pro bono practice, with an emphasis on civil rights and immigration matters, including several successful constitutional challenges to the conditions of confinement in California county jails during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Mr. Noureldin is an active member of the community and profession. Among his many leadership roles, he is chair of ABA Young Lawyers Division Civil Rights and Social Justice Committee, founder of the USC/UCLA Law Clerkship Diversity Initiative, a leadership fellow with the Equality California Institute and a member of the Ninth Circuit’s Law Clerk Resource Group & Advisory Committee.
