Supreme Court of California Appoints Hailyn Chen to the California State Bar Board of Trustees for a Second Term

The Supreme Court of California on Aug. 25, 2020 announced that it appointed Munger, Tolles & Olson co-managing partner Hailyn Chen to a second term on the State Bar’s Board of Trustees.

Of the appointment, Ms. Chen says, “I am honored to serve on the State Bar’s board and look forward to continuing our important work in protecting the public, promoting the ethical and competent practice of law, and advancing greater access to and inclusion in the legal profession.”

In addition, the Supreme Court announced two additional appointments to the Board as well as new members to the Committee of Bar Examiners and the State Bar Court. Read more about the Supreme Court’s appointees on the California Courts Newsroom.

Hailyn Chen is a Co-Managing Partner of the firm and a litigation partner at the Los Angeles office of Munger, Tolles & Olson. She focuses her practice on complex business litigation, white collar criminal defense and government investigations. Ms. Chen frequently represents higher education institutions in a range of litigation matters and investigations.
