She represents Tishman Speyer and the San Francisco Giants in the Mission Rock development, one of the most complex real estate developments in the nation. The National Law Journal acknowledged her efforts in this matter as having a transformative value to the community. The publication also highlights Ms. Sanford’s passion to build teams of not only high-level real estate lawyers but also diverse lawyers that reflect the communities who will occupy the spaces in question.
Beyond counseling industry giants, Ms. Sanford dedicates a significant amount of time to pro bono work where she assists nonprofits in acquiring, leasing, developing and preserving land. She also serves as a mayoral appointee to the City of Los Angeles Environmental Affairs Commission and the Board of Recreation and Parks Commissioners, which directly oversees operations, programming and maintenance of over 400 parks and 175 recreation centers within the city.
