Munger, Tolles & Olson Names Kevin Posterro Chief Operating Officer
Munger, Tolles & Olson announced on Oct. 7, 2019 that its chief financial officer Kevin Posterro has been named chief operating officer. Working closely with the firm’s leadership, Mr. Posterro will oversee day-to-day operations and support the firm’s strategic objectives.
Mr. Posterro is an industry veteran who has served law firms in the capacity of CFO for 20 years. Before joining Munger, Tolles & Olson in 2017, he was the CFO for three other national law firms.

In his new role, Mr. Posterro will oversee the firm’s day-to-day operations and help crystalize the firm’s strategic vision. He will oversee marketing and business development, technology, human resources and recruiting, office administration, finance and diversity and inclusion initiatives.
As CFO, Mr. Posterro collaborated closely with the firm’s former COO and managing partners to maximize financial performance in relationship to its strategic operation. Along with managing the firm’s financial affairs, including accounting, budget and taxes, he led conflict processes for new clients and attorney hires, implemented personnel policies and procedures regarding retirement plan administration and helped develop and implement new features of the firm’s technology platform.

Mr. Posterro has also held CFO positions at Lewis Roca in Phoenix and Choate, Hall & Stewart in Boston. Mr. Posterro earned his B.A. and MBA from Assumption College in Worcester, Massachusetts. He received the honor of magna cum laude for his undergraduate studies. He was also a sergeant in the U.S. Army serving from 1990-1998.
