Munger, Tolles & Olson corporate partner Jennifer M. Broder was named one of the Daily Journal’s top 40 lawyers in California under 40 in a report published on Aug. 14, 2019.
Ms. Broder was recognized for her representation of Berkshire Hathaway in its commitment to invest $10 billion in Occidental Petroleum to support Occidental’s Anadarko bid. She was also selected based on her work advising Oaktree Capital in its $4.8 billion sale of 62 percent of its business to Brookfield Asset Management and Rent-A-Center in litigation against Vintage Capital over a terminated merger agreement.
Ms. Broder focuses her practice on mergers and acquisitions and corporate governance. She also regularly advises clients on securities law compliance and general company matters.
