Munger, Tolles & Olson litigator Carolyn Hoecker Luedtke was recognized as a Top Trade Secrets Lawyer in California by the Daily Journal on Oct. 9, 2019.
Described as a “go-to counselor and litigator,” Ms. Luedtke was recognized for her representation for such high-profile companies as Intel, Applied Materials and The Walt Disney Company on trade secret matters involving employee mobility.
In particular, the Daily Journal highlighted Ms. Luedtke’s successful representation of Intel in a number of trade secret cases in 2019. In two different cases, she led teams from Munger, Tolles & Olson and obtained preliminary injunctions against employees who misappropriated trade secrets upon their departure. The injunctions barred those employees from using or disclosing those trade secrets, ordered the return of the trade secrets and compelled expedited discovery. Ms. Luedtke was also recognized for her work successfully defending Intel against trade secret misappropriation claims.
Ms. Luedtke’s practice focuses on complex business litigation, with a particular emphasis on intellectual property matters and, in particular, trade secret counseling and litigation.
