Adam Kaplan on Being an Attorney and Parent

Munger, Tolles & Olson attorney Adam I. Kaplan published an article in the Summer 2017 issue of San Francisco Attorney that assembles perspectives from fellow attorneys about balancing their home and work lives.

The article features a variety of topics, including scheduling tips, parental “hacks” and anecdotes that examine the intersection of raising children while practicing law, including bonding with opposing counsel over children.

“I was moderating a panel about balancing life as an attorney and parent when a law student asked this important question: Is it possible to be a great attorney and a great parent?’ Yes, it is!” Mr. Kaplan writes.

Mr. Kaplan, a litigator in Munger Tolles’ San Francisco office, is president of the Barristers Club of the Bar Association of San Francisco.
